ROLEPLAY SAMPLE;;
Click… Creeeeeeek...
As the door opened he stepped into the beautiful Ouran High Music room that had been specifically chosen for the Ouran High Host Club. Why a music room? Because of his mother of course. The piano reminded him of her. It wasn't because it was the only available room. This academy was ginormous. Why would this music room be the only one that wasn't used? Anyway, his father had agreed so Tamaki had taken it.
As he stood in the doorway his eyes drifted over the room with a smile of satisfaction. It was bigger then his room at home. He knew of course that there was a second room in the back that connected to the music room, which was probably a practice room. He hadn't studied it in full yet. He would do so more when he got out of middle school and would step into high school. For now it was only a hope for the future.
"Tamaki… Hey day dreamer, wake up. You wouldn't want the girls to see you all droolly would you?"
"Oh Shut up Hikaru, let him day dream, its funnier that way."
Tamaki snapped back from cloud nine at the similar voices that enjoyed haunting his nightmares. At least this time it wasn't Haruhi he had been day dreaming about. But still… It was kind of weird. Thinking about the first time he had stepped into the music room. His heart skipped a beat and he turned from his antics to see that all the girls at his table were staring at him with concerned looks on their faces. And of course he heard the most annoying laugh burst from behind him. Fury boiled deep inside him as he turned from his seat in the designer couch and tossed one of the pillows at the twins who were teasing him.
"Hey shut up twins, no one asked your opinion!" This just made the twins laughed even louder at their prince. So Tamaki turned for them and began to ignore their obnoxious presence, averting his attention back on the ladies around him.
"Tamaki are you alright? Your a little distant today." Risa, the girl sitting beside him, asked. Tamaki allowed his eyes to drift over the girl and take in the beautiful black hair that she had and the bright green eyes that looked back at him. A charming smiled slipped onto his face as he moved back into his work. It was no wonder that he had been day dreaming. Today was his mother's birthday. It seemed as though he had forgotten, but his mind had continued to remind him of it despite that. Now that he knew what was bothering him he pushed all other feelings aside. He could worry about his mother later. Right now all that mattered was the happiness of these beautiful women sitting next to him.
"Oh its nothing my princess. Its just dreams of you and me dancing in the light of the moon. With your beautiful hair down and your eyes shining like the stars above us." As he said this he moved in close to Risa and slipped a gentle hand onto her cheek, getting close enough to her face, that you would think they would kiss. Tamaki of course never engaged real attraction to the women around him, for that would be quite disappointing, he would think, to the other members around him.
In response the girls gleamed and made those high pitch voices that always made him feel somewhat special. He suddenly wondered how he had drifted off. He was the attraction here. The girls at his table were here to see and speak with him. How had he drifted into a day dream if all of their attention was on him? That would mean something had to have happened to switch their attention to something else. Of course. It was probably when Kyoya came over and started talking to the girls. Um… Something about… their next event? Possibly? Well, it didn't matter, he had to snap out of it and continue with his job as a host. That was his number one goal in the first place. To make every girl happy. And that wasn't an excuse to drift off into nowheres land...

PERSONALITY;;
Anyone who's anyone would know Tamaki to be that one .dramatic. son of the chairman who can't seem to control his emotions and flamboyant actions. Nothing Tamaki does is half-hearted. He puts his entire being into whatever is placed before him and he does it with style and grace. Two things that may be a very strange combination with someone who is dramatic. He loves to make excited explanations much to the Host Club's dismay or amusement. This quality of him often becomes the target of much teasing, mainly by the Hitachiin twins. It also means that his negative emotions get over dramatized as much as his positive emotions.
Along with his dramatic behavior Tamaki can often seem very .sensitive. to things that happen to or around him. He is easy to annoy, easy to tease, and easy to distract. Its very common to see him sitting in the corner with his dark gloominess around him just because someone made fun of him or didn't do what he wanted. This is also where he often shows his most adorable puppy dog eyes so that he can change the minds of his friends (mainly Kyoya) if they don't want to help him. This can be interoperated as a form of manipulation, but it can also be altered pretty easily. As he is made happy by the littlest things. Though he can be pretty stubborn about serious things.
Well, without Tamaki, the Host Club wouldn't even exist. It was started because of his .romantic. personality trait. He just loves to make women happy. (He likes to make everyone happy, but it mostly seems like a woman is involved every time something comes up that he wants to get into.) He has a 70% request rate from the ladies because of this. He just knows how to make them giggle and swoon. He can set up those really romantic atmospheres and act really passionate towards the girls that come into the Music Room to be a part of the Host Club.
To compliment his overly dramatic behavior Tamaki has been found to be very .naive. at times. Jokes and Sarcasm often flies over his head and he'll take many things seriously. (Which is very apparent when the members of the Host Club tease that they didn't like being a part of his club in the first place.) This is mostly to his friends dismay and amusement. Which also makes him a perfect target for teasing. In some way this also explains the way he sees Haruhi as his daughter rather then a potential love interest. (Where the rest of the club is completely and entirely aware of the fact.) It also comes into play when secrets or ploys occur for he most definitely won't see any underlying scheme.
Tamaki can be .caring. when people need his help just because he loves people in general. He will make up ideas and scenarios to help out those who are in need and will willingly offer generous advice when people are clueless of their own lacking and isn't afraid to openly point out what is making people unhappy or what they should do to make themselves better.
Tamaki is a very .curious. character and likes to snoop into other peoples affaires when it comes to things that really bother him. For example a woman who is not happy. Or When the twins are with Haruhi, or if anyone who isn't a girl is with Haruhi.
It's kind of interesting, but its easy to tell that Tamaki can be just a little too .trusting. of different people. Like I said how he can be naive to ploys and schemes, he definitely trusts people way too easily. But he isn't all together stupid. When he does catch on it becomes a serious problem for him. He gets serious and angry, though he has trouble staying that way for long.
It isn't difficult to see that Tamaki is passionate and .hard-working. despite his overly dramatic personality. In fact, this is what contributes to his hard working streak. His grades are almost perfect and he does whatever he can to get the job done, even if he's not ver good at the job at hand. He loves to learn new things and will always do his best to accomplish them. Like I said before, he does everything full-heartedly and doesn't hold anything back.
Must I say it again? There would not be a Host Club without Tamaki. Just because he's a little dummy sometimes doesn't mean he can't be .creative. when he wants to be. He thinks about most of the outfit designs and about many of the events that they have. While its safe to say that Kyoya is the real idea giver, its Tamaki that makes the ideas happen. And he always gives everything a little bit of his flare. Tamaki was the original founder of the club and so any credit toward that can't be taken away from him. He also tends to get himself into situations where he has to create a game plan to achieve success. Sometimes they work, other times, Kyoya has to save the day with his "why didn't you say something sooner" moments.

HISTORY;;
Yuzuru Suoh, chief executive of the powerful Suoh Enterprises had just gone on a business trip to France. While he was there he went to a well off party and fell passionately in love with a beautiful french woman that went by the name of Anne-Sophie de Grantaine. She was the beautiful daughter of a French businessman who was attempting to become partners with the same company that Yuzuru was there to see. The beautiful blond became Yuzuru's his mistress as he was there. It wasn't long before everything went wrong. The woman had become pregnant with a child and named him Rene Tamaki, giving him both a French and Japanese name.
At the knowledge of having a son Yuzuru was inclined to leave his wife that his mother picked out for him to marry Anne. Shizue Suoh rejected the idea furiously and left Anne and Tamaki to live in the de Grantaine mansion in Paris. She wouldn't have been able to leave the mansion in France anyway because of her poor health. Yuzuru periodically came to visit the child and his mother, much to Shizue's dismay. Tamaki himself grew older, learning how to play the Piano through his mother and having a good life by his mother's side. Though he didn't see his father as often as he would have liked, he had nothing against him, despite the man always following the commands of his one mother.
It was several years later that the Suoh Enterprises began to go "belly up" and Shizue began to fear the possibility of Yuzuru not having an heir to carry on the family name. So even though she did not like the idea of having Tamaki taking over the family she agreed to allow 14 year old Tamaki a trial period before he could be officially declared the family and company heir. So she went to Japan and gave his mother a "compromise." She would give Anne financial comfort in exchange for Tamaki to go and live in Japan. The effects were that Anne would never be allowed to see Tamaki again and vice versa. Tamaki agreed to go with his Grandmother to keep his mother alive and to help his father in the other hand.
Soon after leaving France, Tamaki found out from his Father that his mother had gone missing and has not been seen since. Despite the distance that was now held in between him and his grandmother, Tamaki never once blamed or held bitter feelings toward her. He continued to grow attempting to please Shizue both to make his own father happy and to reconcile his father's mistake with Shizue.
Upon arriving at Ouran High Academy the first student he met was Kyoya Ootori, whom he took to be his best friend the first day. Whether he knew it or not, Tamaki made Kyoya a very unhappy person for the beginning of their "friendship." It wasn't until Kyoya became very angry at him one day when Tamaki was spending time at his house. After playing the piano for Kyoya's brothers Tamaki and Kyoya himself sat down to talk while the others left. Tamaki began talking about how he only lived within one of the smaller estates without having the privilege of living with his father and grandmother. Then he began talking about how he was still in a trial and then stating that he wasn't even all that interested in the position to begin with. This of course pissed Kyoya off and they've been best friends ever since.
Four months later Tamaki suggested the Idea of a Host Club and Kyoya became the Club's Vice President. In addition Tamaki went out of his way to invite the twins Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, Mitsukuni Haninozuka, and Takashi Morinozuka to join the club in which he started as soon as he got into high school. About a year after starting, Haruhi stumbled into the music room and has become a member of the club ever since.
