Immerse me, cut my throat.. If you want me skin deep.. you better act now. ¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸ ¸¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸
»Nooo!! screeched Kei, as he slumped down on the screen of his television. It can't be over! I need to know what happens next! Kei was about to throw something at the TV because, unfortunately, the soap opera 'Days of our Lives' has ended its hour. And Kei, well.. he didn't like it. Ugh! He pulled his body backwards onto the ground, laying completely awkward on his back, and staring [or rather glaring] at the ceiling above. He was quite mad, if you can't already tell.
Annoyingly picking up the remote, he turned off the television, and threw the remote unintentionally at random in some direction, hearing a clunk and bang.. then things falling. Kei quickly sat up and looked behind him, wondering what he hit, and practically went numb. Noo! My comics! He spazzed himself upwards and ran to the fallen shelf with tons of strange comics that are now scattered in areas. Of course he was devastated. Why? Because not only did his shelf fall.. but on top of that, his alarm clock and his lamp smashed down with the shelf as well. And it all laid comfortably on his comics.
Kei was pretty mad, alright. He was frustratingly picking up his comics and putting them into a pile on his bed. He even stared at the remote that was laying contently on his pillow, then cursed underneath his breath before huffing and fixing the shelf with his screw driver. Once it was back in place, he shoved his comics back where they belonged, neatly and precisely, so that it won't fall on its own and then glared at the remote that layed comfortably on the bed. Before wanting to smash it to pieces, he noticed a distinct empty water bottle, and decided that it should be his victim of assult. So, in acts to poof all the frustrations out of him, he grabbed the plastic thing, and tossed it out the window with effort, although it only floated in slow motion in the air.. down to someone's hood of a car. Obviously the alarm didn't go off, but a strange distant neighbor decided to mumble and put his fist up saying something like 'hey kid -insert vulgar language-' and whatever, so Kei snickered and walked back to the middle of his room, looking around boredly.
He wanted something to do, obviously. But what was there to do? He didn't have any friends! Hm.. I guess a walk outside would be fun! he randomly thought, bringing himself to his closet and opening it up, revealing a usual symptom of being a boy. Alright so his closet was messy.. with clean clothes obviously! Kei sighed and trudged through the clothes, finding something decent to wear for the winter time, like a black long sleeve shirt with a strange ':3' face on it, and dark pants that were kinda loose. After he quickly changed into them, he hopped along over towards his bathroom and looked in the mirror, with a plesant look on his face, before fixing up his azure hair. He then fished out a case that had a few different coloured eye patches in it and picked out a dull black one, before replacing the white one that he had on.
After he felt like he was finished making himself look decent, he hurried himself out of his room. But before that, he wet over and grabbed the remote, throwing it on the floor in a corner. That's what you get! Stupid remote! With that, he stomped out of his room, grabbing his sweater, and lightly hopped down the stairs. His mom wasn't home, so he immediately pulled himself right out the door.
Unfortunately for him, however, the neighbor next door seemed to be waiting for Kei to come out somehow, as if he already knew that he was bound to come out of the house eventually. Of course Kei bolted forwards, sticking his tongue out at the man. Hey kid! You won't get away with this! said the neighbor, angrily throwing the water bottle on the ground, but it ended up smashing into his face, earning a loud 'ah!' noise.
After Kei was tired of running, he slowed down. The street was pretty calm; no one seemed to be around so he decided to stay where a pretty nude tree was. It was almost leafless, and barely lifeless looking, but Kei touched it before he decided to climb it. Too bad he fell on the first try. Ow! Kei tried again, reaching for the branch and climbing his way up again, but he fell once more. Owww! He tried once more, but he fell again, and this time, he kicked the tree, and slumped down on it, sighing. What a boring day today's going to be..

{Drench yourself in words unspoken}Live your life with arms wide open "Oh....my.....GOD!!!!" This single phrase was what could be heard sounding from the closed door of the one and only Ariana Valentine, only daughter to the Valentine Jewelers. More of a squeal than a statement, it reverberated around the empty walls, for she was home alone for the time being. It certainly would have startled any living being that was in the completely quiet house, had there been anybody there. And what exactly was the reason for this loud and excited statement? It just happened that Ariana had woken up early by her standards and decided to watch a movie that had been released recently called 'How To Train Your Dragon'. She had wanted to see the movie while it was in theaters, but after having no one to go with and not wishing to go by herself, she hadn't seen it yet. After watching the extremely adorable movie, that was the only reaction she could make as the movie quickly joined her favs list. She would definately recommend it to her friends once she was able to talk to them again. They had yet to respond to her email, so she would just have to wait till then.
Laying back on her bed, clutching her pillow to her, a content smile occupied her features as she thought about the movie she had just seen. Hiccup and Toothless were simply adorable, she thought, a quiet squeal sounding from her, followed by an even quieter laugh. However, the smile that her face held soon began to turn downwards, the happy face she had quickly becoming a look of sadness and loneliness. Though the movie had been able to keep her sad thoughts at bay for a time, it couldn't stop them from flowing once more. She was lonely. Ariana was lonely, and it was a feeling that she hadn't really felt for years. Until recently, that is. After moving away from her home country, she had been attending Ouran Academy for quite sometime. And yet, she had not even managed to acquire one single friend. Sure, she had her friends back in America, but even they were beginning to reply less and less, their lives being run with things that she was unable to go through with them. After moving here, her parents had continued to stay the quiet and distant people they were. She saw them just as much as she had in her home. She hadn't felt this lonely in a long time. She didn't even have her tutors anymore, leaving her alone in the quiet and still house that she occupied.
With these thoughts, a single tear escaped her eye, breaking Ariana out of her thoughts as she furiously wiped it away. What was she crying for? She was lonely because she had no friends. She had tried to make friends, and nothing had seemingly come from her attempts. But, what do they always say? If at first you don't succed, try and try again! With a renewed sense of hope, the emotion shinning and burning in her brown eyes, she let go of her pillow and jumped off her bed, determination joining the original hope. She would make new friends and she would do it today! Even if it was just one friend, she would do it! And so, it was with these thoughts in mind that she quickly made her way to her walk in closet to find something suitable to wear. After all, it was winter. She was for sure going to find something that would keep her warm. She wasn't one of those girls that only cared about cute, skimpy clothes no matter the weather! So, she diligantly searched her closet for something to wear, which was a total feat in and of itself.
Unlike most girls, Ariana was the lazy sort that didn't much like to put up her clothes...so, she didn't. Most of the them currently littered the floor, all of them clean, while a select few things actually were hanging in their correct spots. After several minutes of searching, she was able to come up with a cute outfit. The top was a black long sleeve shirt that clung to her, the word 'D. Gray-man' written down the left side in shiny sliver writing. The bottoms were a simple pair of light blue, almost a grey color, skinny jeans, finished off with a pair dark purple Converse hightops. As for accesories, she wore her usual silver hair pins that did their job of holding back her straight hair, and some braclets that were made out of piano cord, decorated with silver beads. That was it; a simple, yet warm outfit that did the job.
Looking in the mirror once more, she decided to throw in her grey color contacts as well to finish off the appearance. It wasn't that she didn't like her natural brown color, but she just felt like having a change every now in then. So, with the grey color appealing to her more than the brown, she decided to go with them today. Finally happy with the way she looked, she grabbed her IPhone and wallet off her desk, preferring to not be weighed down by a purse, she stuffing them deep into the pockets of her jeans. For the finishing touch, she grabbed her new hoodie off of the end of top of the chair that accompanied her desk, not caring if it went perfectly with her outfit or not. It was a plain grey in color, not to much out of the ordinary. However, the decoration on the back was what made it stand out of the crowd. On the back was a slightly angry Pikachu that was in a running position, blue and orange lightning bolts surrounding it. It was just so cute she had to get it! And she was rather happy with her purchase.
Smiling once more, she waltzed down the stairs and towards the door, locking it as she went. With a slight hop in her step, a joyful hum coming from her mouth, she proceeded to make her way down the street, no certain direction or destintaion in particular. She just hoped that, after awhile, she would run into somebody that she recognized from her school. But, what were the odds that she would run into somebody that she knew? Most likely, they would be off in another country for the weekend, doing something fun with there parents or something. Sadly for her, though, her 'loving' parents had left her at home alone, nothing to do and no care if something happened to her. Though this thought was probably not true and they might actually care for her, that was how she felt about things. But really, what was the probability of running into somebody that she would recognize?
Apparently, very high, for after these thoughts went through her head, Ariana spied with her grey eyes a boy with shocking blue hair standing next to a tree. He was cute, maybe a little younger than her, but what caught her attention was what he was trying to attempt. He was trying, with little success, to climb the leafless tree, giving up after several attempts. Having seen all this go down, a giggle left Ariana's lips as she watched the boy try to climb. She had seen him around at Ouran, thinking she might have even had class with him, but she wasn't sure. Smiling, she walked towards the boy, poking his shoulder lightly when she was close enough. "Mou, why did you give up so quickly?"

» The sun rays light up the area that Kei was lying dormant on, brightening up his vision as well. He sighed, sighing quite boredly, and unmotivated to climb the tree that was behind him. Why did he start climbing that tree anyways? He knew that he wouldn't be able to do it. Was it out of boredom? Or was it because he wanted to prove himself that he could do it even though he couldn't? Usually he wouldn't give up easily. Maybe it was just how the day was going?
Of course, he never really expected anyone to be around. No sir, not at all. Whenever he comes around, there's usually no one around that he could talk to. Well, it wouldn't matter to him anyways because he was never really good with acting normal in front of people. No sir; Kei's not normal. He doesn't act normal either. He's quite a happy camper... well, a bit too much of a happy camper, and hyper than most, so most people tend to avoid his cute self because of that. He doesn't know why they do, but.. well, he doesn't know 'why' for many questions, like how he doesn;t know why he gave up climbing the tree. It wasn't like he didn't want to give up, obviously, but..
Wait. He felt a poke on his shoulder.
Lifting his head back a bit, he laid his eyes upon a light brown haired girl, saying a few words about how he gave up so quickly. Wait. Does that mean that she watched him fail miserably while climbing a tree?! That's horrible! She might think he's completely a dud! Or a little boy! Alarmed, he sat up blushing, hiding behind the tree as best as he could without looking at her. U-uh, w-what are you talking about? I didn't give up! I was tired so I stopped..
Oi, that was a total lie of course. He forgot that she saw him, or watched him, attempt to climb the tree. Baka Kei.. Kei smacked himself in the face. I have to pull myself together! She might think I'm weird if I act like this! Speaking of her, he could have sworn that he saw her somewhere. He figured that the only place that he saw her would be at Ouran. Oh yeah, she was in his class, right? The distinct colour of her hair sort of stood out to him. Plus, she was pretty! How can he not remember a face like her's?
At this rate, Kei decided to act differently, and stood up suddenly, with a bright smile on his face. I'm not tired anymore! Without a doubt, Kei tried the tree climbing once more, inching his way up slowly, and grabbing the nearest branch above him before lifting himself up. He didn't get that far before, so he kept going until he finally swooped upwards and hurled himself onto the branch. See? I was just tired before! I really can climb a tree! he said, quite boldly and energetic, swaying his legs around horizontally. A nice wind suddenly blew on by. It was cold, but it felt warm against his skin when it hit his sweater.
A sudden crackle was heard and Kei's alarmed looking expression looked to the right to investigate the noise, and it was of course, the dead branch of the tree that was cracking underneath his weight. But why!? He wasn't that fat! Actually, he wasn't fat at all! What.. because of his muscles that the branch had to crack? Great.
It did, of course, crack, and at that rate, he didn't know where the girl was standing. She could have been anywhere! He hoped that she wasn't anywhere near him, or else he could have fallen right on her, since it all happened pretty darn fast.
notes: It'll be cute if he fell right on her >w> He'd be careful! >D

{Drench yourself in words unspoken}Live your life with arms wide open Large, color contact-caused grey eyes looked upon the boy that was around her age in curiosity as Ariana waited for her question and poke on the shoulder to register in his mind. Why was he out here, laying beneath the barren tree? Didn't he go to her school, possibly even attend the same class as her? If so, then why was he still here? Most she knew were gone for the next few days, visiting there villas and seeing the site of many tropical and exotic places. But, then again, she was here as well, wasn't she? Her excuse was that her parents had ditched her, leaving her alone in the large building she still hadn't managed to call home. Something about the way it had no welcoming feeling gave it a cold and empty vibe. It was like one of those show houses that you can go to, the kind that you can view to get a feel for what the other houses of the area where like. It had no homey, warm feeling; it was just an empty shell. That's where she was currently left to spend her days, alone and sad.
However, before she could delve much deeper on the thoughts of woe and lonesomeness, the reaction of the boy that she was waiting for had appeared, and it wasn't quite one that she was expecting. He had jumped up so quickly, it caused her to fall back in surprise, leaving her in a siting position as her eyes filled with surprise. Definitely not the reaction that she herself had been expecting! She thought he was just going to look at her surprised or look at her in a glare, not jump behind a tree and try to hide from her! And then, to top it all off, begin talking about how he was just tired and he hadn't given up. It was actually quite adorable. Ariana couldn't help but giggle lightly at the reaction as her surprise began to dwindle and fade, amusement replacing it and giving her eyes a certain twinkle. He was certainly different from the others she had managed to mingle with so far at her school. Different, however, in a good way. Different, not as in strange, but as in interesting.
Picking herself up out of her sitting position, once more assuming her standing position, she watched as he gained a sense of hyper and happy attitude, smiling and resuming his attempts to scale the naked tree. He certainly was a strange and intriguing young man wasn't he? She watched as he slowly, very slowly, began the try again to climb the tree, going on about how he wasn't tired anymore just before he did so. Ariana watched on in amusement, her eyes filled with the emotion, as well as one other. It was what can be known as belief. She believed that the young man would be able to climb that tree like he set out to do, now that she was around to watch. She was sure that since he had an audience that he knew was actually, he would not give in so easily. And so she was right, for he was soon sitting on a thin branch just above her, smiling and talking about how he wasn't tired and assuring her could do it.
Smiling up at him, the same wide grin that he had recently given her, she nodded as if in agreement with his statement. "I knew you could do it," Ariana told him, continuing to smile up at him as she did so. He certainly was interesting. What was his name anyway? Silly her! She had yet to introduce herself and acquire the name of the young boy that she recognized. Of course, she could know his name from school and would just come back to her, but it was better safe then sorry to just introduce herself and ask him his name in return. However, something strange was happening that distracted her from finding out exactly who she was talking to. It was the sound of something snapping; something like, say, a tree branch that a young man with shocking blue hair and a single amber eye was sitting on. And wasn't it just her luck today? She just happened to be standing directly underneath the branch.
A look of shock formed on her face and she watched the branch break and the boy fall in slow motion, both heading towards her very direction. Before she could even move, or even form the thought to move, the two objects were upon her. Luckily for her, the branch only managed to scratch her leg. Sure, it had the potential to leave a mark and cause her to bleed slightly, but it was bearable and not extremely painful for her. However, unluckily for her, the full weight and height of the boy can crashing down on her, causing her to fall over once more. However, this time her landing was much more painful, her body smacking against the ground. This, added with the weight of the boy, took her breath away and caused her quite a bit of pain. Nothing she couldn't handle, or that wouldn't go away after awhile, but still enough for her to utter only one word after the collision. "Owwie!" Thankfully, no one was around to see this bit of gracefulness. What would her parents think if they knew this happened? Oh, she would never hear the end of it!

Immerse me, cut my throat.. If you want me skin deep.. you better act now. ¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸ ¸¸.•*´¯`
»What a stupid move that Kei did. Trying to alleviate the situation of her finding out that he wasn't able to climb the tree.. was he just stupid? Well.. maybe not stupid, but definitely simple minded.. or, absent minded? Maybe both. Either way, he totally fell right over the girl that was now laying underneath him. Oww... This was really not his day. Just how many times has he injured himself already? And not to mention, the girl as well. Wait... WHAT?!
Kei immediately looked down at her face and he could already feel the thermometer like rage of red suddenly pull over his entire face. I'm such an idiot! What have I done! Yeah, he screwed up big time, and he even managed to injure the girl's leg too. Negative -10000 points for Kei on this one, that's for sure.
I-I'm s-s.. He obviously couldn't say anything because the hot feel of his face was stopping his muscles from even moving. But, he had to get off of her! The look of his eyes turned away suddenly as he got up quickly, letting the obscene blue hair of his obscure half of his face. I'm.. sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. He bent down to notice the scratch on her leg and the slight bleeding that it caused. Great. He even made her bleed!
So with that, it sent a signal to him that he needed to go get a bandaid. Pronto. His house wasn't too far, but... he still had to run pretty fast to get there and back before the blood oozed out more. He then stood up suddenly and had a serious, playful look on his face. Stay right here. I'll go get a band aid! D-Don't move! Kei zoomed out of the area that he was in, hoping she didn't move and stayed where she was.
When he got to his house about a few minutes later, with non stop running, he crashed through the door and ran towards the bathroom to retrieve a band aid that had little red apples on them, with smiles, and then zoomed himself out of the house once again and ran down the block. It was probably his adrenaline that was making him go so fast, but he knew it'll bite him right in the arse later on.
It took right around the same time to get back to her, whom he hoped that was still there and luckily she was. By the time he stopped running, his foot got caught on something and his face planted right on the ground. A-ah.. Ow... That probably was a bit embarrassing, but fear not! It wasn't enough to ruin his little heroic act, so with that, he sprung himself back up.. not really caring about all the residue that was on his clothes and face and cracked a smile at her. I.. got a.. band aid for you.. he said, breathing in between.
Unwrapping it, it stuck it right on her cut gently, then sat down indian style and wiped his face off with his hands. He glanced a peek at her, but then reality hit and he looked away, embarrassed. This has got to be the most weirdest and most horrible day so far. Will there be time to change it? Maybe.
