Immerse me, cut my throat.. If you want me skin deep.. you better act now. ¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸ ¸¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸
»The crispy morning air was just enough to hype up Kei towards the moon. He was just told, not too long ago, that there was a beach party going on, courtesy from the Host club . What a great way to spend the day today! Instead of being locked up in the family business today, he decided that he should let loose for a bit, and go to the party! Even if he makes a fool out of himself! That's the spirit Kei! he thought, letting his sub-consciousness build up his hyperness. He's never really been to a party, much less a beach party before, and this was the perfect opportunity to finally start getting along with others, right?
Eh, Kei's never really had any luck with people lately, and since he just entered in Ouran Academy, he barely knows anyone, much less even know what the Host club is. But that didn't really matter, since he's in a great deal of hope that he'd find a friend this time. Last time, he saw a pretty girl, and wanted to talk to her since she was alone, but apparently after he said 'hi', he didn't see someone coming in his way, so he collided with the conflicted person.. and everything went downhill from there. But still, that was just one time.. or two.. maybe three, or more, but yeah.. whatever. He's going to be confident this time! And try not to make a fool out of himself...
Well, before he could even think about going, he had to find his shorts. Within the mess that swarmed around in his closet, it might become a bit difficult to actually find a pair that's not wrinkled. But fear not! Kei is on the prowl!
By the time he found his shorts..
Damn it! He looked at the time. It was 11:35am Most of the people would have been there already, conversing with people that they knew or don't know. How on earth would Kei find someone to talk to now! He grunted, looking at himself in the mirror. Ah, well, his athletic body was tight.. with high definitions of muscles, and whatever can capture a girl's view. Psh. If he thought of himself like that way, he'd probably be a different person. Right now, when he looks in the mirror, all he sees is himself with a grin.
For the final touch, he stuck on an orange eye patch over his blind left eye, to match the orange and white shorts that he had on. After fixing up the unique blue hair that he had, he grinned once more Alright! and began his mission towards the beach. Before that, he found his mother watching tv in the living room, and couldn't help himself from grinning. Ma, are you watching my soap operas? Maria turned to look at him, with a 'ya caught me' expression on her face. Uh huh.. well, I seen that episode, so I won't freak.. he said, quite proudly, and trolleyed down the stairs.
I'm going to a beach party! Seee? he said, suddenly changing the subject, and presenting himself proudly to his mother. Maria looked very 'eh' ish, but she simply nodded. Well, have fun Kei. Don't come home too late though, the next episode of General Hospital is coming tonight~ she said, quite happily, almost giving the mental image that she was drooling.. with her eyes sparkling like anime people would. Kei jumped up and down. I know! I know! I won't miss that for the world~ It's getting sooo good! He waddled up to her and kissed her on the head. Bye Ma. I'll be back soon. Maria waved, then Kei ran out the door. He was close to actually running into it, which did happen a few times [no lie] but oh well.
To describe his journey to the beach would be like describing how a door closed. Basically, he started off all happy and giddy, not caring that he was the only person on the street that was wearing a shorts and was actually carrying his white shirt on his neck, and then suddenly... BAM! He began to get all clumsy, because there were tons of cute girls around! Ah, the weakness of his heart~ Such a delightful feeling... until you trip over something. Which was what he did..hm.
Ten minutes later..
Ah.. it's hot.. Kei finally ended up at the beach on the exact time that he hoped he would. As he expected, there were a bunch of people around, occupying some spots at the beach, and such. Kei just shrugged, not really discouraged that he'd might end up being alone on the beach, but either way, he decided on coming here, so he's fine spending this time on his own.
Being the smart one that didn't bring any sunblock and thought that his shirt would be enoough, he went straight towards a place where no one was really around, and sat himself close to the bank, where the water barely touched his legs. He decided to play with some sand, although it was semi hot and it actually felt like it was burning, but whatever. Kei took some of the pressed sand that was cooler and mixed it with the hot sand, so it would repel the sun a bit.
The wind blew hot air, but it felt slightly cool where he was, so even though it was hot, with the sunbeams directly pointing down and reflecting the heat off the sand, he felt content and at ease.. but he has a feeling that he'll be rioting soon, in hopes of finding someone to talk to. He fixed the shirt that was on his neck still, just a bit, and continued playing around with the sand at ease.

Post by Haruka Fujisaki on Sept 8, 2010 21:42:34 GMT -8
Haruka Fujisaki awoke that morning with an irritable yawn. The whole previous night had been spent tossing and turning, back and forth in an uncomfortable sleep. The upcoming beach party, despite the excitement it evoked, had unsettled the anxieties within Haruka’s subconscious about seeing Kyoya and interacting with the rest of the Host Club at the event. It was strange how they were holding an event open to male and female, Ouran and St. Lobelia alike but who was Haruka to complain if she was getting free food and a fun time at the beach? Either way, the girl had tossed and turned all night and the pain in her arm hadn’t helped much.
Since the day of the incident at the flower shop, Haruka had been wearing a small cast-like protection for sleeping because of how much she squirmed even on a regular night. The protection was black and extended up her arm to the elbow but allowed the protruding fingers to wiggle and move about just as normal. Haruka had resolved the night before on taking it to the beach with her just to avoid the possibility of getting sand in her injuries or a sunburn in that relative area. That would be an absolute nightmare.
Gazing at the ceiling of her bedroom, Haruka sighed. She didn’t feel like moving from the protected comfort of her big bed where Kyoya’s wide eyes and familiar features couldn’t see through her soul and freeze her in place. She’d have to get up sooner or later though. She knew she would. But Haruka really just didn’t want to. Groaning in sleepy agitation, the red-head tossed her pillow on the floor and pulled back the tangled sheets. Her bedroom was very warm even with the circulating fan in the corner but it wasn’t an uncomfortable warmth where anyone who entered would begin sweating and coughing from lack of oxygen. It was a gentle warmth like the arms of a loved one holding you gently to keep you safe from any forms of harm and cold that might try and sneak near you.
Moving through the bathroom to brush her teeth then down the spiral staircase to the kitchen, Haruka began to make herself a cup of coffee. It was a bad habit she had gotten into actually. Tea had always been her preferred morning drink but recently, with the having to keep on her toes around the Host Club and others, she’d taken to drinking coffee so she’d be awake when the first thing happened. It wasn’t bad stuff really she just wished it didn’t spike then drop so quickly. It gave her a headache after just one cup. Haruka was getting used to it though just like she was getting used to St. Lobelia and the Zuka Club and not to mention the lack of Kyoya’s presence.
It had taken a toll on the little red-head, no matter what she might say or try and convince someone of, and not seeing Kyoya had really begun to bother her. Even after a full year Haruka wasn’t used to connecting the boy’s face with negative images and experiences. On the contrary; whenever Haruka thought about Kyoya or Kyoya popped into her mind, the name and face was always accompanied by a flow of happy memories and great times of shared laughter, embarrassment and even tears. Having to change that image wasn’t an easy task and it was certainly a slow one.
Deciding to leave the coffee cup on the table to cool down, Haruka went to change. Sorting through all her things, Haruka flipped through her numerous swimsuits and decided on a white bikini that she promptly pulled on. Overtop she danced her way into a pair of white shorts and grabbed a black tank top before turning and tossing it onto her bed. Checking her mess of hair in the bathroom, Haruka sighed and pulled it up into a ponytail not wanting to play around with the big red disarray today. Then, a touch of waterproof eyeliner and lip gloss and she was set. Haruka wasn’t big on makeup for everyday uses. Special occasions were…special and she figured today was as special as any. Who knew who she might meet or see?!
Checking the clock atop her night table, the red-head jumped. She was going to be late and Nabiki was bound to be waiting already! Double-checking herself in the mirror, the girl grabbed her black tank from the bed and skipped downstairs slipping into her new flip-flops along the way. As she moved through the kitchen, Haruka set out a little dish of seeds on the porch like she did every morning. The girl had recently taken to feeding the birds and squirrels after having caught one of the latter trying to attack an neighboring birdfeeder. She had always wanted a little bird too, a cute little parakeet or finch.
Going back through the kitchen, Haruka grabbed her bag and top then triple checked everything was in place before calling a goodbye to the maids and stepping out of the house. It was a beautifully sunny day, warmer than usual for this late in the season but a chilly wind passed every now and again making goose bumps rise on Haruka’s arms causing the girl to shiver. The walk to the beach was short and soon Haruka found herself amoung the buzz and commotion that was the Host Club’s beach party. The decorations and preparations were astounding, yet familiar to the girl as she looked about in search of the recognizable black head of her best friend. Nabiki was bound to be grumpy considering Haruka had run a little late.
Taking off her flip flops, tossing her top over her good arm and beginning to pick nervously at the black wrap on her other arm, Haruka began to wander through the sand. Not paying much attention to her feet, the girl suddenly gasped as she tripped over someone and was quick about jumping back. “Oh, I’m so sorry!” she immediately exclaimed turning in a flurry to see who she’d run over. There, sitting in the sand, was a boy about her own age with bright blue dyed hair and an eye patch covering one of his eyes, perhaps due to an injury. He was so interesting to look at, and not to mention friendly looking and cute, that Haruka couldn’t help but stare a moment. By the time she noticed what she was doing, the petite red-head had to blush. “My apologies again, I didn’t see you.” she said with a sweat drop.

Immerse me, cut my throat.. If you want me skin deep.. you better act now. ¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸ ¸¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸
»Kei actually was having fun in the sand by himself. It's not like people come around out of nowhere, right? Patience is a virtue. Yes. A virtue. Patience.. bah. What was he kidding. He wanted someone to talk to already. Someone around.. he didn't like being alone. It reminded him of things that he shouldn't be reminded of, and it was also somewhat of a fear he has. And besides, in the inside, he was extremely hyper. He needed to let it out to someone! Not to nothing! Like.. people would think he's stupid for basically.. running around like a nutcase.. or barging in a volleyball game and smacking the ball further than expected. He could knock someone out with his hyperness if he wasn't careful!
Well, he sighed. Things don't happen too quickly. So, he decided to relax.. and take in the sun, although he has a feeling he might get sunburned instead of tanned, because he was definitely dumb enough to leave his house without putting any on. Luckily, it didn't really seem too hot.. eh, that was a lie. Yes. He'll be burnt when he gets home. For sure. Unless someone here would like to give him some sunblock..
Psh. Kei decided to really think that his skin would repel the sun because once he finds something to do, he'll dodge the sun! And then BAM! No sunburn! Woo~ .. Yeah. In his mind... sub-consciousness... or whatever... that's what he was thinking.. but obviously, something so stupid like that can't happen, so his blank and content face didn't falter, nor change with that awesome, yet dumb idea of his.
Maybe he should just go home. Soap operas seem like a good time to watch at a time like this. He wasn't getting any attention from anyone around anyways, so maybe he was wasting his time? He didn't want to leave obviously, but if he was wasting his time, then there's no point in it. Of course, right after he thought of that, a strange... out of nowhere shock.. seemed to come in a matter of seconds.
Apparently, a body flew in front of his face. It happened all too quickly really, since he wasn't even paying any attention towards his outside surroundings. Then again, if someone tripped over him.. it wasn't his fault. But, as soon as he caught a glimpse of who exactly fell on him, something struck his mind. It was a girl, probably about his age or so, with shiny crimson hair. Kei thought he was the only oddball around here with blue hair, since he really hasn't seen much people in his life with red hair. But she has red hair, and she was a girl.. so it was naturally smooth, right? Well, in either case.. it actually made him seem interested in looking at her for a moment or two. But he knows that staring was a bit wrong, so he looked the other way, with a slightly embarrassed face, before looking back at her with a strange glimpse in his eyes.
It's okay, pretty girl, I forgive you! he said, with a goofy grin on his face. Yes, he's known to really say anything out loud, whether it's embarrassing for other people to say or not. He really couldn't care less if it was, and he always thought that telling the truth was just better for him to cope with people, even if they didn't seem to like it much. Of course, that doesn't make him a blabber mouth, or untrustworthy or something, because knows when to keep quite of things or whatever, but still.
Kei crossed his legs indian style, before looking at the girl with huge interested amber eyes. Not pervertedly, of course... that never crosses his mind at all, but they continued to hold a glimpse of interest, wondering if she'd stay and talk, or leave and ignore. Either way, Kei's grin and perky expressions would make anyone really change their mind.. or at least think over things.
