Turn it inside out so I can see the part of you that’s drifting over me I forever walk alone. All I desire is a friend and nothing more~ Arthur P. Samuel
When I wake your never there and when I sleep you’re everywhere He listened to the tone of her voice as she started to tell him that he was basically overeacting to the cleanliness of the establishment. Although she was clearly trying to be sympathetic and understanding, he saw it as a personal attack. He could've picked up on that and countered, but instead he swallowed his pride and tried to do the same as she did for him. "Perhaps....I keep my place so clean so easily that I forget others simply do not have the time nor the money." he said He tried to shrug the feeling of annoyance off. He then grabbed his smoothie and began to suck on the straw for a few seconds. He truly did enjoy the smoothie, as expensive as it was. Something about the taste of lemons seemed to soothe his taste buds. He even stirred his straw around a little himself for a brief moment before putting the drink back down. to face Kazumi once more. He then began to think about his pets and how they were holding up with him being gone for so long. He was truly amazed that he was having an actual conversation with someone. Not so much that he was actually having one, but more so that it was a long conversation with a girl, and one that didn't act like your typical stuck up preppy school girl. This gave him such a warm feeling in his heart, to truly have someone to talk to aside from his pets. All he ever really wanted was attention. "Yes I suppose I did prove that."he said, a little embarassed from the situation from earlier Even he didn't know why he did those things, or why he was so afraid of germs and being unclean. Not sure that he really even cared either. After all if he delved too deep it might lead back to his parents, and he didn't want anything to do with those kind of thoughts. As she shook his hand, she actually complimented their meeting each other. This truly did shock him to the point that he repeated what she said in confusion. "Certainly interesting meeting you....?"he repeated and said, "That's.....that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said....."tagged:: Kazumi words:: 402is notes::Sorry it took so long.....again O___o credit:: template by Kazu

Kazumi nodded at his response, glad that he had at least been able to see where she was coming from. She couldn't be completely sure whether that had been his first thought, but she was happy that he hadn't taken it as a attack. Personally she kept her house spotless, partly in an effort to help her mother, but mostly because she didn't like coming home to a mess, but she doubted that it was nearly as clean to what Arthur's house probably was. "Plus some people are just too lazy to bother trying to keep a place that clean. I hear it takes quite a bit of work." She frowned slightly and leaned forward, resting her chin in the palm of her hand as a somewhat faraway look appeared in his eyes for a brief moment. Normally she would reach out and poke someone for that, just to get their attention, but she wasn't too sure how he would feel about that.
Instead she leaned forward slightly and waved her hand in his face, "hey buddy, you still alive in there? What keeps making you zone in and out?" she asked, returning back to her original position. Hopefully that had managed to get his attention, and if not then she really would reach out and touch him. At least that was almost guaranteed to get some kind of reaction out of him. She laughed and gave the smallest of shrugs, "it's not really that big of a deal. Most of the people who saw the scene have probably already forgotten about it. And if they haven't then they will by tomorrow. People seem to have ridiculously short attention spans these days."
Her eyes traveled around them, picking out random people to stare at for a couple seconds before switching to someone else. There was a bored expression on her face, but it was an expression that was placed on there all the time anyway, whether she was really bored or not. Kazumi's eyes flicked back to Arthur as he repeated what she said and an eyebrow slowly lifted as she watched him. Considering she had meant it half as a compliment and half as an insult she was a tad surprised when he said that it was the nicest thing anyone had said to him. Giving a soft huff Kazumi tilted her head a little bit, "you really haven't had too many other form of interactions with people have you?" At least not any good ones she thought to herself, choosing to leave that out of the conversation.

Turn it inside out so I can see the part of you that’s drifting over me I forever walk alone. All I desire is a friend and nothing more~ Arthur P. Samuel
When I wake your never there and when I sleep you’re everywhere He had to think about what she had asked. He never really made an effort to get to know anyone else better, with the exception of trying to get his own father to play with him during his younger days The mere thought of his father aggitated him instantly, reminding him why he did not feel the need to make friends with anyone, because as far as he saw it the world was full of cynical selfish people who had no time for anything other than themselves, so he went ahead and became exactly like the people he hated. "I haven't really felt the need to...." he said disdainfully as he crossed his arms over his chest with a soft huff of anger, "Everyone has their own way of doing things, and while I may not have been polite to most people.....it was for the better either way." He stared off into space for a moment, not hearing anything else but echoes from old memories long forgotten. The sounds of his father shrugging him off, telling him that he was very busy and had no time to play. He cringed when he remembered the day that Arthur was bound for Japan to attend Ouran. He remembered the heated fight he and his father had. They had argued about the true purpose for Arthur's enrollment to the prestegious high school. He had left his family with a smile on his face and never looked back. He never called them by phone and never answered their calls. He even burned any letters that were sent to him by his parents, never even bothering to read them. "Filthy biggots the lot of them...."he muttered angrily, "Why did they even bother having me if they never had time for me? Bullocks to that....they can saok their heads with turpentine for all I care..."At this point he had utterly forgotten Kazumi's presence. The trip he had just taken down memory lane really did a number on his mood. Hatred swirling in his heart and his mind, he angrily grabbed a hold of his smoothie and began to finish the rest of it. It wasn't until he looked up and saw Kazumi that he remembered her. He immediately place the smoothie down and asked, "Right....what were we talking about?"tagged:: Kazumi words:: 460ish notes::About time I posted.... credit:: template by Kazu
