WELL IT GOES LIKE THIS THE FOURTH THE FIFTH
( • THE MINOR FALL AND THE MAJOR LIFT • )
[/b] arguing over! The parents say no and the child huffs and puffs but says "fine, whatever." Unless you happen to be Abbey's older sister Arabelle, who wanted to go back to Germany. She was nineteen, why didn't she just get up and leave if she wanted to go back to the motherland then? Because she didn't have the money, and her parents were not about to "loan" her the money to go back to a place that they vowed never to go back to again. And so the arguing and screaming ensued. The arguing, the yelling, the bitching, the moaning, the whining, and the complaining were getting to Abbey and her head had begun to pound. She knew that if she didn't get out of that house, if she didn't get away from her sister and her mother, just...away from it all, then her head was going to explode or she was going to snap and scream at them all. And even though Abbey knew they deserved it and she knew that it would not only make her feel better but make them shut up all at the same time, her mother would be pissed. And once Carolyn Morgan became pissed then you better hope that luck is on your side, because without it you would be better off as a fly with a twenty-four life span. But all of the screaming and arguing wasn't even for anything that was worth
Abbey didn't have any idea where in the world she was going. The young German girl left the house in an annoyed huff, not even bothering to say good-bye to her father or any of the staff, and just began walking. Her blonde hair was tucked away under her signature blue hat and her hands were shoved into her rather short black shorts. Abbey's long legs were rather pale, but there wasn't much she could do about those since she burned too easily, and her black and white striped sandals flopped nosily on the ground as she walked along the sidewalk. She ignored the cars driving past and the awkward whistles as immature freaks attempted to get a reaction from victimizing her. Abbey wasn't the type to normally give people the reaction they're looking for, and when she was oblivious to the world that was even more true than normal.
It was until she was stopped in front of a gate that she even realized where she had walked too. The blonde German was standing at the fence to the park and she looked around briefly to see where the entrance was, giving a slight scowl as she saw the distance that it was from her. How inconvenient that was. Instead of walking the supposed "long distance", Abbey stuck on foot into the chain link fence and swung her other leg over, easily and gracefully crossing over. She walked with an athletic grace, passing a picnic table that was currently occupied with what looked to be a feuding couple. Stopping at a white rose bush Abbey looked at it curiously. The young teenager didn't know that they planted white rose bushes here, or even that the white ones could grow around here, but then again, what did she know about flowers? That's right, nothing. Maybe they planted them by mistake? she thought to herself, sitting next to the rose bush.
Painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red
We dare not stop
Or waste a drop
So let the paint be spread
We're painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red
Oh, painting the roses red
And many a tear we shed
Because we know
They'll cease to grow
In fact, they'll soon be dead
And yet we go ahead
Painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red
We dare not stop
Or waste a drop
So let the paint be spread
We're painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red
Oh, painting the roses red
And many a tear we shed
Because we know
They'll cease to grow
In fact, they'll soon be dead
And yet we go ahead
Painting the roses red
It came out of nowhere, the song, and she hadn't really meant to sing out loud, despite how quietly she did so, and Abbey frowned as she reached up and picked a drooping white rose. Where had that song come from anyway? Alice in Wonderland? That was it, wasn't it? She remembered seeing the movie a few times, but how is it that she could possibly remember the song? Abbey wasn't paying much attention, too busy thinking about the song, to note the thorns on the rose she was holding until it was stabbing into her finger. She winced and looked at her finger where a single crimson drop fell onto the rose. Despite the pain she couldn't help but laugh. Her day was just going to be full of odd Disney things today. "Damn that hurts. Autsch," she said, placing her finger in her mouth and the red stained rose on the ground.
