Hideki Akabara
...take eleven roses and look into the mirror...
And the twelfth rose will be looking back at you.
School:: Ouran Academy
Name:: Hideki Akabara
Nickname:: 'Rosie' (Used by his older siblings to annoy him)
Gender:: Male
Age:: 15
Birthday:: June 18
Sexuality:: Bicurious
Grade:: One
Marks:: A-B+
Clique:: 'Smart Kids'
Canon or Original?:: Original
Play By:: N/A
Hair::
As if colored by his own name, Hideki has hair the shade of a red rose. It raches down to his shoulders when completley straightened. Though it seems naturally straight, his hair is incredibly unkept and takes an hour to get it under control in the mornings. That's just to keep it straigh mind you! And even after all this work, just getting frazzled or running too fast can mess up his locks again. It's a bit of a pain.
Eyes::
Hideki has wide, amond shaped-eyes which look very much like his mothers. A hazel-brown in color, they seemed almost dulled during school hours and never light up. When at home there is more of a spark, but still, his reserved nature reflects in the sometimes-icy orbs.
Skin Tone::
Smooth and as pale as milk. That's how Hideki's sister descirbes his skin. The smoothness is just how it is, not having the physical prowess to do any tough clubs (karate, kendo, etc.) and not needing to do any manual labor (rich, duh). The paleness is from Hideki's preference for being inside after school rather than outside.
Height::
While he is certainly not done growing, Hideki is still a little on the short side for his age. He stands at a humble 5 foot 6 inches, and is used to comments about his height.
Weight::
Again, on the small side, Hideki is only 122 pounds. For one who doesn't work out at all, this isn't a surprise, and he eats healty enough as to not gain any excess weight. His sister jokes that all his fat is in his cheeks, which are still a little baby-fatty.
Body Type::
Slim for slim's sake, though as stated above he does have a childish face. His arms are more lanky then lean, though he does have very nice, slender legs for a boy. He also had been told he has "Hartman Hips"...whatever the heck that means.
Personal Style::
With his messy hair, dull eyes, and skinny frame, did you think he'd have a masculine sense of style? Hideki prefers to wear his school uniform without the blue jacket, sometimes with the sweaer-vest, ut most time just the short-sleeved white button-up. Outside of school he tries to keep it comfy and affordable...which is still pretty damn expensive cause, hello, Ouran is for the wealthy! He likes designer hoodies and fitted caps, most of the time in blacks and dark blues and browns. Torn-up jeans (or, rather, jeans he cuts up himself for the heck of it) finish up the look, along with some convers or any sort of loafers. He hates socks, so he never wears socks.

Personality::
Hideki isn't exactly a ray of sunshine, to say the least. Most of the time he is cold and has a sort of pessimistic disposition. He tends not to smile or laugh so much, unless he's around his sister or his closest friends. He is very protective of his sister...so incredibly much that he's very suspicious of anyone who comes close to her. However, the most distinguishing personality trait that Hideki possesses is by far his temper. Quick to enrage and slow to forgive, Hideki has a tough time making friends and even a tougher time keeping them. He can go from calm to irate in less a second. The only person he doesn't ever go off on is, again, his elder sister. But when his brother is brought up, a side of Hideki never seen normally shows up. His personality becomes morose rather than testy and he stutters, making him look more like a girl. Poor little punk also blushes very easily when he's around girls.

History::
Family life wasn't the greatest in the Akabara household. Growing up, Hideki's parents spent a lot of their time falling in and out of love with each other. Everyday he would walk home after school with apprehension tying a knot in his chest. It grew larger and harder when his parents were happy with each other. That meant that soon there would be an explosion, and the longer the explosion was put, off the bigger it would be when it did blow up. It was a monster that fed on Hideki's nerves and it was utterly tiering.
Well, almost. There still was a small sparkle of light that kept Hideki going everyday. Yuu and Yuuto took better care of him than their parents, and they kept him going when he ws worn out from the family drama. More than once did Hideki try to run away from home from school, but Yuu would remind him that he would be nothing without her. It was kind of a blackmail-love. Sometimes Hideki would beg Yuuto to run away with him, but he would not abandon his sister.
Then things went from bad to worse when Yuuto started hearing things. Whether the ghosts or voices were real or not became irrelevant to Hideki. The fact was that Yuuto was distressed and he needed help. Eventually his suffering began to make him violent, and he lashed out at Yuu and at Hideki on a regular basis. Too much for Hideki to handle, he had to get help, but the only help he could think of was from hi aunt, Inari, who his mother barley ever spoke about or to.
Now he regrets ever going to her with all of his heart.
Inari came over to the house all of once, coming to see if Yuuto really was in such pain. The second she walked into the house and Tristan saw her...it was all over.
Hideki found himself not being able to go home, not even to Yuu. It was too much for him, having his mother and aunt suddenly fighting for his father's affections. He beat himself up over it. Feeling guilty for abandoning the twins in that home by themselves, hearing the fights and cries. Selfish. Coward. Hideki cut himself off from his siblings for months, until his third year of middle school.
Then one day he came home to no moher. Aione was gone. She'd grown sick of Tristan and Inari's growing love for eachother and had simply walked away. It was the last straw for Yuuto's fragile sanity. He tore apart the kitchen until they called the police, verbally abusing his father and new step-mother and actually shoving Yuu back into a glass table, which point Hidei found himself and ran away from the scene.
Once the sounds faded from downstairs, the youngest Akabara boy went ownstairs to find nothing the same. Yuu was quiet, Tristan wasn't speaking to anyone but Inari, and Yuuto was gone. HIdeki knew they had admitted him to an asylum. The family was broken beyond repair.
And he knew that it was all his fault.
RP Sample::
It hadn't really been Hideki's intention to forcibly drag his oler brother to his room tonight, but the circumstances were all pointing toward this as the only option. There were bruises on the little twin's arms, back, and neck, and he was acting much more jumpy and all-around depressing than usual. That made Hideki nervous. Nervous enough to push the boy onto his bed and slam and lock the door. It wasn't that he though Yuuto would run for it...
...though that is a possibility...
He was more concerned with somebody walking in and listening. Yuuto was being hurt by somebody, or himself. And the thought of anybody roughing up his brother killed off that calm and reserved outer-self of his and kicked him into 'angry brother mode'. The change was even visible in his eyes when he looked up at Yuuto, deep brown eyes glowing with worry and anger.
"It keeps you in and others out," the redhead said in a statement rather than an answer. He started toward the bed quickly, toward Yuuto, with a cool expression. "I'm sorry I had to force you to come here, but if you ran off...I get the sickest feeling you'd have even more of those," Hideki motioned toward the boys bruised hip, "The next time I saw you. I'm worried about you. Tell me what's really going on? I swear, these walls don't have as many ears as the kitchen does."
Both his hands latched onto the older man's shoulders, eyes piercing the dulled green below him. Hideki was not fooling around this time.
"Talk to me. What's going on?"
