Kyoya walked through the halls, his black notebook supported in one hand as he studied it and his other hand in his pockets. There was nothing really interesting in his notebook, well nothing new anyway. It was Host Club information, information that he had gone over multiple times already. Why, then, did he continue to go over it? Mainly because none of the ideas that Tamaki had thought up made any sense to him. As he walked, the dark haired Host could hear the whispers from the girls that he passed, and one of them called out his name. Kyoya looked up and gave her a smile, then watched as her legs seemed to give out. He recognized her as one of the many Host Club customers, but at the moment he couldn't quite recall who she was. That wasn't exactly normal for Kyoya, considering he basically knew everything about everyone, but his last chance meeting with Haruka had left him feeling slightly unorganized. However, he hid it well enough that it seemed the rest of the Host Club didn't notice, and if they did then they had yet to mention it.
The tall second year stopped in front of the doors to the third music room and frowned slightly. He didn't want to go in. Chances were it was still empty at the current moment, but that wouldn't last for very long, and the low blood pressure king didn't want anything to do with the other members at the moment. Turning sharply, Kyoya began walking through the halls once again, going towards one of the numerous libraries within the school. With any luck he would find one of them quiet and with a minimal amount of students. It's not like he was going to study, he had no need at the moment since he did his school work at home, where he was assured the opportunity to get it done. However, he could use a good book. He had finished the last one already.
The first library he had came too was the third that the school had, and he was rather surprised to find it empty. So surprised, in fact, that he had stopped halfway through the doors, one hand still holding the door open as his dark eyes studied to the library through his thin framed glasses. Letting the door go, Kyoya pushed his glasses further up his nose and closed the still open notebook with a snap. The noise echoed only slightly through the large, quiet expanse, and he allowed a small smile to cross his lips. Actually, it was more of a smirk than a real smile, and it was a fleeting action, one that was gone seconds after being placed up. Even with no one around to see him, Kyoya still never smiled. If anything, he smiled even less.
There was no reason for him to smile. At the moment there was nothing exciting happening, nothing that he could gain profit from. In other words? He was bored. And then there was Haruka. Shaking his head, Kyoya made his way over a bookshelf, glancing quickly through the titles and finally grabbing one on advanced business management. He probably already knew everything in this book, and then some, but where was the harm in reading over things that you already knew. Sitting on one of the many couches, Kyoya allowed himself to lounge out, his legs stretched over the other seats. His feet, however, hung off the side. After all, these couches were rather expensive, and they were more expensive to clean. The boy had no intention of dirtying such furniture. Opening the book, Kyoya began to read, yet he still watched the door, as if he was almost waiting for someone to enter.

"Oh dear. Lost again," Shiori sighed as she looked around her. It was her first day here and the Headmaster had told her to look around and get a feel of the school. But it was so huge! Shiori felt herself sweat dropping as she tried to get her bearings once again. She pulled the map out of her shoulder bag and held it before her. Her eyes scanned it for a moment before she simply put it away and nodded. "Yup. Definitely lost," she stated and continued down the hall. There weren't many students around and she honestly didn't want to be laughed at for getting lost. She was going to be teaching here come tomorrow morning. She hoped she would make it home today in one piece. Kami knew her landlady would worry herself silly if she didn't come home at a decent hour. While she was a teacher, Shiori was only twenty years of age, only two to three years older than the third years she would be teaching and many of her university students would be older than her.
She lifted her hand and scratched the back of her head, her hair down since she wasn't working. She felt eyes on her as she passed a group of girl in the hallway, one of them fanning herself. She then heard their whispers.
'Think she's a new student?'
'Least she's fashionable. Look at that Gucci shoulder bag she has.'
'Still. A student at this time. She has to be at least a third year.'
Then they were out of range and Shiori's cheeks were a bright pink from embarrassment and slight anger. She wasn't a student! But then she looked young. She sighed and hung her head a bit. Even one of her new co workers had mistaken her for a student. She stopped as she turned down a new hall, her hands now in fists and held before her.
"I'll do my best. Mistaken for a student or not. I will be the best damn teacher here," she said to herself, tending to pep talk herself when need be. "Yosh!" she chirped, nodding her head and pumping her fists. She giggled at her antics and continued on along the halls of her new place of employment. Her eyes lifted as she finally was able to get a point to refer to on her map. But as she read it she perked. 'Library 3'
"Maybe a little peek before I try to find my way back to the staff room," she said to herself softly as she walked to the door and gently eased it open. Her head popped in, the auburn hair bouncing a bit from the movement. Her eyes widened at the size of the place and she slipped within fully. The door shut behind her and she smiled brightly at the sight of all the books. She went to a private academy in England for her schooling. "Sugoi.." whispered from her lips as she walked forward a bit more, not noticing the lounging male student as of yet, more enraptured with all the books calling to her to read.

He had only been in the library for a short amount of time, fifteen minutes at the most, yet he was already a quarter of the way through the book. Of course, much of that had to do with the fact that much of what was being said the teen already knew, and so the parts that were merely repetitive, he would skip. This did mean, however, that he was skipping through much of this book, and he was rather surprised at how much information in the book was incorrect. Well, at least it was different than what his father thought, and considering his father was a successful business man and this author was unknown, Kyoya was more apt to believe in his father. In all honesty, he was getting rather annoyed with the book and was half tempted to have a talk with the school board, but that would then mean he would have to make the trip down there.
With a small sigh, Kyoya closed the book over his finger, keeping his place, and opened his notebook, flipping to an empty page and writing down the name of the book and the author name. Even though he was too lazy at the moment to be bothered to do anything about the book didn't mean that he was going to continue to allow it to pollute the minds of others. He finished writing it out in his elegant handwriting before placing the silver pen he used back in its proper place and closed the notebook over it. Opening the book again, Kyoya was about to begin reading when the library doors opened, revealing a tall, dark haired woman. Judging by the way she dressed most would assume "student", but Kyoya did not assume anything, he knew, and he was not like most others.
No new students had come to the school recently, but he did know that there was a new teacher, Shiori Kyro, heiress to the rather successful Kyro enterprise. There didn't seem to be anything "special" about her, except for the fact that she had gotten a teaching degree even though she already had the business. That made no sense too him. Here he was, the third son to a business man and with almost no chance to be the successor, yet he tried to outdo his older brothers. And then there was this woman. She had every opportunity and had to do absolutely nothing in order to gain control of a business. It seemed that these things pissed him off the most, but he kept his face expressionless as he stood and cleared his throat.
She had yet to notice him, or that's what he believed since she had yet to even look at him. It seemed that the books had caught her attention completely and he briefly wondered if clearing his throat had been enough to make his presence known, not that it matter. "Shiori Kyro-sensei I do believe?" he asked, adding sensei more as a formality than anything else. He wasn't quite prepared to let her know that he knew she was the heiress to the Kyro enterprise, after all one never revealed all of the cards in their hand.

The brunette slowly walked down the halls, her shoes clacked lazily against the ground. She had just come from one of her classes, and decided she would take a break. That wasn't easy for her, since she almost never took any breaks. It just didn't appeal to her too much. Although, it sounded nice every once in awhile. She just didn't want to be late for her next class. But it wouldn't be for awhile... so maybe she should stop somewhere and relax?
Amethyst lifted her chin, holding her arms to her chest. She might as well take a well earned break, she deserved it, right? Yes. Right. Besides, if she went to the library, she would have time to study. Or maybe if she went to the cafeteria. No, it would be too loud there. Ammy liked going to places that were quiet, that way she could enjoy herself more. She loved quiet places. Loud places just made her want to scream. But they wouldn't help a lot would it? It would just make it louder.
So the library maybe? Yes! Perfect! The library... she could read all the books she wanted to, and relax. And maybe study. Usually, she wasn't like this. But she wasn't doing too good in English, her next class, Amethyst wanted to study to the best of her ability. So, there she was, barely being able to walk in such a dress, with an excited look on her face. Yes! She was brilliant! That would be the best place to go! The library.
So off Amethyst walked, nothing in her scrawny arms, towards where the figured the library was. This place is so damn big... it was over this way right? She smirked to herself, as the large doors appeared before her. She was itching to get herself a good book, so she placed a small hand on the door. Her eyes lifted to look inside as she opened the door. And what was that she saw? Two people. Curse it all. I won't be alone. They better be quiet.
The brown headed girl walked past a couple of chairs, a couple of shelves, past where Kyoya Ootori and some other woman were talking- wait. Kyoya Ootori? She knew he was in the Host Club, but she had failed to ever go there in the first place. But she... knew him. Well... her father had shown her a picture of him when he came back from one of his business trips a couple years back. Their medical business did business with Kyoya's family.
Ammy just got a quick glance before turning away. She lifted a foot to walk towards the books that she wanted to see, and... she stepped on her long skirt. She tripped, and landed flat on her face. "Damn it all! This stupid dress!" She swore quietly, standing up and brushing herself off. She felt like she could just see those people's eyes on her, and she turned red, hurrying towards a random shelf and she started looking busy. Damn it. Damn it.

Kyoya had yet to actually meet Kyro-sensei, but he didn't have to meet someone to know everything about them, at least everything that was worth knowing. The information he gathered was not subject to just one particular type of person, if anything, he strayed away from most of the students within the A class. His reasoning was symbol. Anyone within the A class was already known by the majority of the school population, therefore nothing new came to him. His interest lay more in the other classes, like the D class students, who were mainly the children of Yakuza leaders.
The youngest Ootori began to open his mouth to say something else to the teacher who had been staring eagerly at the amounts of books within the expansive library. He was sure she knew that there were plenty of other libraries, all of which were just as full of books. Before he could utter a single word the door to the library opened yet again. The dark haired Host couldn't help but wonder if maybe this library was going to become just as crowded as the three were and he watched as a girl entered. She had an average height, but she looked rather frail and that was all Kyoya needed to see in order to know who the young girl was. Amethyst Taiyo, Kyoya thought, her father owns a few hospitals.
She looked at them briefly, just long enough to be able to see that they were there, and even possibly long enough to recognize them. With his attention taken away from Kyro-sensei for a moment, he began to study the way the girl walked. It would seem that she didn't much like the dress, nor could she really walk in it well. Watching the girl take an over zealous step forward, Kyoya could see her tripping before it even happened, though only by mere seconds, and he set his notebook down.
Giving Kyro-sensei a small smile, Kyoya made his way over to where she was now standing, "Amethyst Taiyo, am I correct?" he asked, taking her hand lightly. "I do hope you're all right, considering the fall that you took." Everything Kyoya did was for a specified reason.
